STARTUP CAMPUS Alumni Event 2025

Feel the startup groove

29. September 2025 18:00 - 21:00

Mark your calendar – the legendary STARTUP CAMPUS Alumni Event is back at Kraftwerk Zurich!

This evening is for everyone who’s been part of our journey – whether through our Business Concept, Business Creation, or Business Growth courses, our Female Founders Initiative, or one of our many Startup Stories events. It’s your chance to celebrate your path, reconnect with fellow founders, and meet alumni who’ve shared similar experiences along the way.

Whether you’re in the middle of building your company, already scaling, or simply curious to see where others are now, this is your space to reflect, recharge, and reignite valuable connections.

The evening will feature an inspiring keynote by a fellow Business Concept alum, plus plenty of time to catch up, share stories, and explore new opportunities. And because we’re truly grateful to have you in the STARTUP CAMPUS community, the night is on us.

We’re also excited to welcome Jerry as our DJ. A STARTUP CAMPUS alum and former Runway Incubator member with the startup Paton, Jerry has been behind the decks since 2024. His versatile sound is guaranteed to get you moving.

Join us for a high-energy evening of good vibes, great people, and real founder talk. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

Speakers

Murielle Schreck

Murielle is not only the CEO and Co-Founder of qCella, but also invented the patent-pending material at the heart of qCella's business during her doctoral studies in Materials Science at ETH Zurich. This innovative material is the basis for qCella's paper-thin and homogeneously heating mats, which will replace outdated heating wires in products for personal heating, automotive/aviation and industrial machinery. Today at qCella, she is responsible for fundraising, acquiring new customers and maintaining the startup’s extensive network of supporters and collaborators.

Henry Twerenbold

Henry incorporated with two co-founders the Medtech Startup Aseptuva in 2021, launching entities in both Switzerland and the UK. Together with his team they are developing a safe UVC technology to prevent hospital infections and reduce the burden of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) – a problem that affects millions of patients every year. He holds a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich and further expanded his entrepreneurial expertise through programs at Seoul National University in South Korea and Singapore Management University. In addition, he helped establish the Alumni Network of the Swiss Youth in Science Foundation (Stiftung Schweizer Jugend forscht), where he continues to serve as a member of the Alumni Board.

Patrik Deuss

Patrik Deuss is a serial entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience in building startups. While still at university, he founded his first e-commerce venture Cheapster.ch. In 2017, he co-founded LEDCity, a cleantech company with the bold mission to revolutionize the lighting industry and save so much energy that one nuclear power plant could be shut down. Over more than ten years, he and his team grew the company into a recognized player in intelligent lighting – before ultimately facing bankruptcy. Today, he shares these experiences on success and failure in the startup world, aiming to inspire founders and leaders while offering an authentic perspective on the realities of building a company.

DJ Jerry Berry

Jerry, STARTUP CAMPUS Alumni and former Runway Incubator member with the startup “Paton”, has been actively behind the DJ decks since 2024. A versatile sound will get you moving!
