How to pitch? What investors want to see in your pitchdeck

Feel the startup groove

10. November 2025 12:00 - 13:30

Together with SIL Löwenberg, Switzerland’s leading entrepreneur-driven startup platform, we invite you to a hands-on hybrid workshop for founders who want to understand what really convinces investors.

In this session, Willy Bischofberger – multi-entrepreneur, startup investor, and ETH lecturer – shares concrete insights from more than 150 startups. You’ll learn what separates a strong pitch deck from an average one, how investors assess opportunities, and how to communicate your vision with credibility.

From the key success factors of great startups to the 12 investment criteria that matter most, you’ll leave with a practical checklist to refine your own deck and prepare for upcoming pitch opportunities at Löwenberg and beyond.

What to expect:

  • What investors look for in every startup pitch
  • The 10 entrepreneurial success factors that drive traction
  • The 12 investment criteria behind every funding decision
  • What must be included in a professional pitch deck
  • How to deal with existing gaps in your business model

You’ll also get an inside look at upcoming Löwenberg Pitching opportunities, where selected startups will have the chance to present their ideas to experienced entrepreneurs and investors. This workshop is designed for startup founders and teams who are preparing for investor meetings, demo days, or future Löwenberg pitch events and want to make sure their story, structure, and slides are ready to impress.
