The tool from Fabian Mueller’s team shows connections between information at a glance.
The ETH PhD student Fabian Mueller belongs to the generation of “digital natives”. Nevertheless the digital information flood overstrains him too. With two other ETH graduates he wants to provide remedy. The team is developing a tool allowing users to select information from the internet and other sources such e-mails and blogs, and to visualize the connections between the information, for example in a kind of mind map.
Although tools like Evernote or OneNote already allow the collection of information – the idea of visualzing the connection is new. The team focuses on practical relevance at the development. Even before the company was founded, the three created an advisory board with potential users. These include journalists, management consultants and scientists.
