Project background:

The ZHAW School of Management and Law is the leading house of STARTUP CAMPUS ( and runs diverse trainings and events for start-ups. The existing learning management and event management system has been implemented in podio apps with globiflow workflow automation (e.g. registration, selection, admission, and communication of and with course participants and trainers through automatized distribution of personalized e-mails and links to other podio apps). We are looking for a full stack developer to optimize processes, make adaptions and fix bugs in our existing podio/ globiflow environment on a “just in time” basis.

The project:

  • The existing solution shall be optimized starting from March 2020. Knowledge transfer of the existing podio / globiflow solutions, which has been in operation for a few years, will be guaranteed from the current podio / globiflow responsible.
  • You should be willing to understand and work with existing code. The workflows and processes may be optimized, but not entirely re-designed or ported to another solution.
  • After the initial optimization, we will need on demand support or further add-ons on request (case-by-case budget) and we will need a minimum service level agreement (24 hrs response time, 48 hrs solution time) for bug fixing or small changes.

We expect:

  • Proficient in PHP and Javascript
  • Experienced in using REST APIs including all authentication methods
  • Full Stack frontend skills (HTML, JS, JQuery, Session handling, etc.)
  • Ideally, you have experience with Podio and Globiflow, particularly with setting up and using complex data models within Podio/globiflow
  • Proficient in English or if possible, in German
  • Precise, reliable and transparent working acumen, high motivation and responsiveness

Your background:
You have (or are in the process of acquiring) a degree in computer science or a related field. You enjoy working independently and have experience in software development particularly in Podio applications / Globiflow. Creativity in finding solutions for challenging problems as well as exact and reliable work are important requirements for this position. A fast comprehension as well as a communicative, flexible and result-oriented working style will facilitate your entry.

Your Application:

We are looking forward to receiving your application via the application form until 29th of February 2020:
