Feel the Startup-Groove of Climeworks & Exnaton!

Get to know successful founders as well as alumni from past Innosuisse Start-up Trainings who will talk about their personal startup stories (of success AND failure) and share their founding experiences with you. A real necessity for anyone who wants to take the plunge into entrepreneurship!

At this event, we will focus on startup solutions for a sustainable future!
You will get to know:

  • Liliane Ableitner, CO-Founder and CEO at Exnaton. Find out what everyday start-up life is like for Liliane and how she and her team turn a great vision into reality.
  • Daniel Egger from Climeworks – the ETH spinoff that originated in a lab is now the world’s leading direct air capture company.

Liliane Ableitner

Dr. Liliane Ableitner studied information systems and has focused on consumer technology in the energy sector since the beginning of her career. Since completing her PhD at ETH Zurich, in which she emphasized the use of digital technologies in the energy transition, she has been leading Exnaton together with her two former PhD fellows Dr. Arne Meeuw and Dr. Anselma Wörner. The team is radically rethinking the energy sector and using data and to achieve climate goals.

Daniel Egger

Daniel Egger is an industrial engineer with a master’s degree from ETH Zurich. He has many years of experience in quality management, product and process development as well as marketing and sales in various industrial companies. At Climeworks, Daniel Egger is Head of Marketing and Sales and has been with the company for over 3 years and he will tell us how it is to work for an extremely rapid-growing company.
